Rebecca Smith is a digital content strategist, editor, and team leader. She currently is the Head of Editorial Strategy & Operations at Mozilla. Before joining the tech company, she worked for eight years at Refinery29 and Vice Media Group. Most recently, she led editorial operations and a team of content strategists focused on SEO and social execution as VP, Editorial Operations & Strategy at Refinery29. She enjoys helping every story find the right audience and building communities for brands.

Rebecca attended Poynter’s Leadership Academy for Women in 2019, has volunteered with New York Care’s Early Morning Reading program since 2013, and serves on the New York committee for Elon University’s “Elon Leads” campaign. She spent five years recapping every dramatic moment of “Pretty Little Liars” and “Scandal” (and has zero regrets about it). She also enjoys reviewing YA fiction, finding the perfect bowl of queso wherever she is, and tap dancing.
