Rachel Rodriguez has spent her career at the intersection of journalism and technology. Currently, she is leading content quality work for several of Meta’s generative AI products. Before that, she led a team that combined editorial content expertise with machine learning to serve Facebook and Instagram users the highest value content.
Prior to joining Meta, Rachel was a senior producer at CNN International, where she directed social media strategy and led a global team that covered news and features via social media. She also spent time as a writer and producer, where she covered both breaking news and features in the US and EMEA. Her work at CNN was honored with a Peabody Award, Edward R. Murrow Award, Webby Award, Shorty Award and Emmy nomination.
Rachel has been a frequent speaker in Europe, the US and Asia on the intersection of journalism and new technology, and was named to Journalism.co.uk’s list of Best Female and Nonbinary Speakers. Originally from North Carolina, she has been based in London for the past 10 years.
