Rachel Schallom Lobdell is a media executive who specializes in creating and leading audience-driven editorial strategies. She is passionate about building processes and teams, interrogating systems, and solving problems big and small. She believes everything is figure-out-able. She has worked as the transformation chief at Gannett, editorial director at FORTUNE, managing editor at VICE, a strategist at the Wall Street Journal, and at Fusion, the Sun Sentinel, the Los Angeles Times, and the Huntsville Times. Lobdell has both her bachelor’s and master’s in journalism from the University of Missouri and lives in Brooklyn with her husband and son.
