Mandy Velez Tatti is the associate director of audience development and analytics at Teen Vogue and Them where she oversees social, SEO and newsletter strategy for the Conde Nast brands. Previously, she was managing editor at The Daily Beast, her last of many audience roles at the publication over the five years she spent there. Prior to that she had editor stints at Google, HuffPost and a media start-up founded by actor and entrepreneur Ashton Kutcher. In 2016, she co-founded the news vertical of the former CafeMedia website Revelist as a way to reach young women leading up to the election. While she spends most of her time writing killer captions and headlines, her past life (and sometimes current life) had the occasional reported piece in the lifestyle, trends, gender politics, and women’s health spaces. One of these pieces is the reason why she can’t shop at Rent the Runway anymore. She’s an alumni of the Yale Writers’ Workshop (memoir) and has pieces published by Cosmopolitan, Washington Post’s The Lily, Refinery29, Yahoo, and more. She is a Philadelphian-New Yorker who recently made the move to North New Jersey with her husband Zach and dog Cannoli. She has a list on her phone for the best restaurants to eat in all of these places if you need any recommendations.
