Jennifer Amur is an assignment editor on the Foreign desk at The Washington Post.
Before moving into story editing in 2017, she was The Post’s first newsletter and alerts editor and later Foreign’s digital editor, where she developed the section’s digital strategy.
She previously worked as an online producer at the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, where she learned to code and helped build the newspaper’s first responsive story template. She started her journalism career at an English-language newspaper in Istanbul, Turkey, after graduating from the University of Missouri.
