Erin Peterson is the Executive Producer of TEGNA’s “Atticus” docuseries team based at WXIA-TV. Her high-impact investigations are featured on air and online on at TEGNA’s 60 TV stations. Millions have watched her series “The Triangle,” and “Mothers Matters.” With “Charlie Foxtrot” she helped change a federal law and VA policy to help veterans with PTSD. “Selling Girls” was applauded by U.S. State Department the 2018 “Trafficking in Persons” report. The “Today Show”, “Last Week Tonight with John Oliver,” and A&E’s “Intervention” all featured her work. After graduating from the University of Texas at Austin, Peterson worked at local TV stations in Toledo, Flint, Houston and Atlanta, as well as CNN and HLN. She has won 18 Emmy Awards, 2 National Murrows, a Cronkite, and 4 Gracie awards. In her spare time, Peterson is a yoga instructor and mentors collegiate women as a sorority advisor for Alpha Phi.
