Elizabeth Baugh is a deputy editor at ESPN where she leads several teams that create and distribute trending topics and news stories across all sports. Previously, Elizabeth served as a social media manager, where she oversaw growth strategies of ESPN’s flagship Instagram accounts. Elizabeth is known for relentlessly checking her friends and family’s information sources. This obsession with how people discover and consume news led to a career in understanding audiences, anticipating trends and a penchant for non-traditional journalism. Her industry experience spans editorial, strategy, product and social media. She holds a B.A. in media arts and design from JMU.
