Angela Wong is a product manager for Apple. Before moving to the West Coast, she lived at the intersection of technology and news at The Washington Post.

Angela spent three years building authoring and photo tools for journalists at The Washington Post’s Arc Publishing, which was licensed to other newsrooms across the U.S. and world. She worked closely with major publishers such as The Chicago Tribune and The Globe and Mail.

She was also the founding product lead for The Washington Post’s data science and personalization team. Angela formed key relationships among the news/opinion, data science, engineering, and advertising teams. She collaborated with these teams to build an in-house NLP tagging system, article recommendation algorithm, virality prediction algorithm, and multi-armed bandit headline testing tool.

Angela graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park with degrees in journalism and finance.
